The island Lopud is situated only 14 Km from Dubrovnik and is the best developed island of the Elaphit archipelago.

The only village on the island is Lopud with its wonderful sandy beach. 

The stone houses are surrounded by gardens in which palm trees, cypresses, orange trees and subtropical plants grow.
